Challenge Background
In our intervention area in Burkina Faso, the average temperature is 28.4°C and the rainfall is around 758.5 mm. The total area is 200 ha, and our ambition is to plant 90,000 trees by the end of 2024. We lack the ability and access to technology which enables to conserve rainwater for irrigating the plants during the dry season.
What we are looking for
We are looking for sustainable solutions adapted to the local context that could allow the trees to survive during this dry season.
We seek water harvest and conservation methods, to allow year-round water supply for the planted trees.
Solution criteria
